  • Dress comfortably to ensure optimal hacking.
  • Devices are not required but feel free to bring them if they'll support your learning.

Getting to the d.school

Hacktivation Nation will be at the Stanford d.school If you’re walking around Stanford’s campus, type in The d.school or 550 Panama Mall, Stanford, CA to Google Maps to locate us.
  • If you are staying in downtown Palo Alto, take the P line of the Marguerite and hop off at the Stanford Oval. From the Oval, type in “The d.school” or “550 Panama Mall, Stanford, CA” via Google Maps and follow the directions in pedestrian mode.

  • If you are staying at the Stanford Guest House, on Friday, you can take the SLAC Marguerite. On Saturday and Sunday, you will need to take an Lyft/Uber (directions below) as the Marguerite does not run on the weekends from that location.

  • If you are taking a Lyft/Uber, use “421 Santa Teresa St, Stanford, CA” when you make your request. This will take you to the intersection of Santa Teresa St & Lomita Dr. From there, walk north on Lomita Mall towards Panama Mall. Take a right on Panama Mall to the d.school (550 Panama Mall; on your left).

  • If you are driving and parking, please plan to park in either the Tressider Parking Lot or the Roble Garage. You will only need to pay for parking on Friday before 4PM.
